Frequently Asked Questions
What is Internet TV?
A. Internet TV is, in our context, a new service offered by the main free-to-air channel providers in the UK. It means you can simply browse a “library” of channels and watch instantly – without having to download the entire programme (although that’s an option also). You can also watch programmes that were broadcasted up to 30 days previously, depending on the channel providers services.
How many channels do I get?
A. Currently we’re up to at least 30 live channels, and 18 catchup channels from BBC, ITV, Channel4 and Five.
Can I use DualViewer VPN on more than one PC?
A. Yes! You can install the DualViewer VPN on as many PC's as you like, but you are limited to one login at a time. If you try to login twice, it will disconnect the first session.
Can I use DualViewer with a Mac?
A. Yes it does. However you will need to configure your setup manually. Please sign up then e-mail us for further information.
Are you rebroadcasting UK TV programmes. Isn’t that illegal?
A. No - we do not host or rebroadcast any British TV as that would be illegal. We only sell you access to our private network to the UK Internet.
What are the links for the UK channels?
A. Here they are:
- BBC www.bbc.co.uk/iplayer
- ITV www.itv.com/ITVPlayer/
- Five www.demand.five.tv/Home.aspx
- Plus others (we will tell you in your registration e-mail).
